Sergey Yastrzhembskiy awarded twice at Rome Film Festival
Ivory. A Crime Story by Sergey Yastrzhembskiy had its successful Italian premiere at Rome Film Festival on October 21st.
Among guests who attended the event, there were not only people from the cinema and TV world, but also some officials, including the Russian Ambassador to the Holy See, Mr. Alexander Avdeev and representatives of the Russian Embassy in Rome.
The Roman public was very warm and welcoming. After receiving thunderous applause at the screening, the director Sergey Yastrzhembskiy received the Jury Award for his cinematographic career. What’s more, the City Administration of Rome also awarded the director for the investigation documentary that speaks of an important social issue.
